What the building and QCo wanted to do:

Use NYC hourly marginal emission rate forecasts to directly target CO2e reductions in NYC.  And reduce Queens generating plant emissions – CO2e, SO2, NOx, and particulate matter.

What the building and QCo actually did:

EMeister MPC identified and executed the lowest cost HVAC strategy – savings tens of thousands of dollars … and likely tens of tons of carbon and other NYC emissions.  Absent a NYISO emission rate forecast, EMeister MPC could not identify alternative carbon reduction strategies.
