What the building and QCo wanted to do:
Use NYC hourly marginal emission rate forecasts to directly target CO2e reductions in NYC (as above). Reduce Queens generating plant emissions – CO2e,
O2, NOx, and particulate matter.
What the building and QCo actually did:
EMeister MPC identified and executed the lowest cost HVAC strategy. Absent a NYISO emission rate forecast, EMeister MPC could not identify alternative CO2e reduction strategies.
